RV vs. House Rental

Answer

RV's are great if you are planning to travel around a few places in the state while you are here. There are many RV parks throughout the area and beyond. ALL RV rentals are in Anchorage. If you are planning to fly in just for a few days, then a house rental/hotel and rental car would work.

Will it be cold?

Answer

We will have tents and heaters, but it will be chilly. Average temperature is around 55 degrees in September. We suggest wearing warmer clothing, and bringing a jacket.

What if it rains?

Answer

We have tents! You'll stay dry, but please do plan for rain with anything you'd need to stay dry and warm. Just in case!

Drinks!

Answer

We will have a stocked bar, local beer, local kombucha, and a coffee bar.

Food!

Answer

Yo Taco will be providing food for the night, food truck style. She will have a variety of tacos, pulled pork sandwich, corn on the cobb, and some appetizers.

Dancing?!

Answer

YES! Dance floor and music will be provided. Be ready to boogie!

Are cabs available?

Answer

Yes! Alaska Cab Company-907-283-6000. Lyft and Uber are sometimes in the area-please check your apps for availability.

Safety at the Wedding Venue

Answer

The venue for Thursday and Friday night sits directly on the Kenai River, which runs very fast, deep, and cold. **Please keep a close eye on the little ones while in the yard**

The Lodge

Answer

We have the lodge booked Thursday-Sunday night. Please feel free to hang out with us as long as you would like!
