GET READY TO PARTY!

It all started on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015... but it was not love at first sight. Caleb first noticed Caragan before College Algebra because he was trying to finish The Circle (summer reading) last minute of course but she was being loud getting to know everyone before the doors opened. She was in full cheer gear which made her stand out. Caragan first laid eyes on him once she was settled in the front row because he was one of the last kids to walk in however he was wearing a University of Maine shirt which was so random and annoyed her since they were attending FGCU (but she did find him to be very cute)! She never saw him again until test days. During finals she knew this would be the only opportunity to get his attention but her efforts failed. Fate had other plans. Next semester they both entered Osprey Hall (very late at night) at the same time. Caragan had a little liquid courage and called him out for not attending class and wasting his money. She quickly found out they received basically the same grade and that this guy was pretty intelligent. They would go on to text and snapchat but nothing really came of it. Again, fate stepped in. Caleb’s family and Caragan’s mom (Dawn) happened to be down at the same time and attended the same basketball game that Caragan was cheering. Caleb’s family just so happened to sit right in front of Dawn and eventually learned that Caragan and Caleb were kind of "talking". Dawn believes she is the match maker here because she encouraged Caragan to give it a real chance. That night Caragan and Caleb started to text again and even exchanged funny baby pictures of themselves. Caleb gathered the courage to ask her to lunch on February 25th, but Caragan had a hibachi birthday celebration to attend. However, Caleb thought it was an excuse. Fate was not done with them yet... As Caragan headed to the parking garage to go to said party she ran into Caleb and they exchanged awkward side hugs. That night the festivities were supposed to extend to Keys Bar but Caragan’s group missed the Uber so they decided to party in the dorm. A friend recommended reaching out to Caleb but he was not answering. The girls did not give up and decided to track him down. They were able to discover his location on the third floor and it just so happened his door was ajar. The girls flung it opened and yelled "Caragan is here for Caleb" as if they were still in middle school. Caleb was finishing an essay that was due at 11:59 pm (it was 11:57pm) - very on brand for him. Once the clock hit midnight the rest of their lives began. Here we are nine years later because the conversation they started on February 25th, 2016 has yet to end and they never want it to. See you all on April 12, 2025 because fate had their backs!
