ALWAYS & FOREVER

On a day Cara shadowed her friend Annie at Mayfield High School, Annie pointed out that sweet, cute boy in her gym class who was oblivious to Cara's presence. Annie manifested this relationship the first week of freshmen year, and it became a running joke that this would be "the boy Cara marries one day" because "Zak was the guy version of Cara." It took 8 months of teasing Cara about it, still unbeknownst to Zak, until their friends teamed up to set up their first date: Mayfield High School's Spring Talent Show. The most awkward couple of hours of young C & Z sitting beside each other, far too nervous to even look in each other's direction, marked the beginning of their favorite love story. Just a month after meeting, Zak texted Cara while on her family vacation to Disney that he couldn't wait to take their future kids to Disney World one day when they grew up. As much as Cara teases Zak about this now, it didn’t take long before she got on the same page as him! A few months later, Zak officially asked Cara to be his girlfriend while watching fireworks, which are still one of their favorite things to do together (with the addition of Mitchell's ice cream of course). It was only a matter of time before they'd decide to tie the knot. There truly has been nothing more exciting than creating the most beautiful memories together, leading us to this point... from "young love" to "true love!" We always dreamed of getting married and building our lives together, and we can hardly believe that this is the chapter we're on! We are so beyond ready and excited to have the best time celebrating our love and union surrounded by our absolute favorite people! :)
