When should I rsvp by?

Invitations will be sent out in April. Please RSVP by the date indicated in the invitation.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one? Are kids welcome?
Answer
The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation. Unfortunately, no additional guests can be accommodated due to the venue's capacity.
Question
What food will be served? What if I have a food allergy/restriction?
Answer
At both the welcome party and wedding reception, there will be meat/fish and vegetarian options. If you do have an allergy or food restriction (e.g., gluten-free, nut-free, vegan), please indicate that on your RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate your needs. We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at the welcome party. We recommend eating dinner beforehand. On the wedding day, we'll have passed appetizers at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner.

Is there transportation from the hotel to the ceremony or welcome party?
Answer
We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our welcome party location is easily accessible via light rail from the Westin hotel (Brooklyn Village Station to New Bern Station with 7 mins of walking). Other options include limited parking on site, street parking, or taking an Uber/Lyft/taxi. Our ceremony and reception will take place 15 mins away from the hotel. If you choose to drive to the venue, there is free on-site parking. Uber/Lyft/taxi is also recommended.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
For the wedding, the dress code is Garden Formal. Gowns, midi dresses, or jumpsuits for the ladies. A suit or tux for the gents. Don't be afraid to rock your colors or florals! This event will be partially outdoors, so dress for the weather and walking on grass. So are other smart-casual alternatives.
