The Oxford Square
The Oxford Square is very lively and has lots of classic Southern restaurants, locally owned shops, and great bookstores. Many of the buildings on the Square, as well as some surrounding houses, are great examples of Mississippi Antebellum architecture.

One of the world's best bookstores! Located on the Oxford Square (hence the name).
Ole Miss
The University of Mississippi campus, right by the Oxford Square, is a beautiful place for a walk or drive.
Rowan Oak
Rowan Oak is the home of author William Faulkner. It is right by the University of Mississippi campus and the Oxford Square. It can be accessed via car, or even better, by a path through the woods from the Buie-Skipwith Museum.
Buie-Skipwith Museum
An art and history museum on the University of Mississippi campus. You can walk from the museum parking lot on a trail through the woods to Rowan Oak, the home of author William Faulkner.
