Things To Do

It's Reidsville... If you don't know what that means, you'll notice most of these activities are out of town!
Greensboro Science Center

Greensboro Science Center

4301 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC 27455
, (336) 288-3769

I (Cara) worked and volunteered at the Greensboro Science Center, and Hunter and I have been together many times. It's fun for all ages with an aquarium and outdoor animal exhibits with Red Pandas (Cara's favorite) and Galapagos Tortoises (Hunter's favorite), as well as a farm petting zoo!

Hanging Rock State Park

Hanging Rock State Park

1790 Hanging Rock Park Road, Danbury, NC 27016
, (336) 593-8480

About an our drive from Reidsville, this is one of Cara and her dad's favorite hiking spots. If you live anywhere in the surrounding area, hiking Hanging Rock is a right of passage, but there are also shorter, less rigorous trails as well.

Pilot Mountain

Pilot Mountain

1721 Pilot Knob Park Rd, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041
, (336) 444-5100

About an hour and fifteen minute drive from Reidsville, this is another of Cara and her dad's hiking spots of choice.

Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail

Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail

2138 Wentworth Street, Reidsville, NC 27320

This is a beautiful walking trail right in Reidsville! Cara grew up walking here with her mom, dad, and friends. On this trail you will see streams, wildflower fields, and the best part... cows!

Lake Reidsville Park

630 Water Works Road, Reidsville, NC 27320

There's a park here where Cara always went on "fieldtrips", it is a pretty fun park though.

Mayberry's Restaurant

698 South Scales Street, Reidsville, NC 27320

If you're in Reidsville, you have to visit Mayberry's! One of Cara and her family's favorite places to eat, and Hunter and her go together almost every time they're in Reidsville.
