Thank you for visiting our wedding site!

Family and Friends, we are excited to share our journey with you, from the first day we met through the actual wedding day! After much thought, Bruce and I have decided to have a small, intimate wedding/reception. We chose a venue that really captures our personality and vision for our special day. Unfortunately, we are limited in the number of guest we can invite to physically attend, immediate family and a few very close friends. ONLY RSVP if you receive a personal invite. Good news! We will have a live streaming of the ceremony and will invite additional family and friends to share in our moment. Also, we will regularly update our wedding website so that you can continue to follow our journey. Please keep us in your prayers and send positive vibes our way! Also, feel free to contribute to us building our future via our wedding registries found on this site, Zola and Crate & Barrel. We love and appreciate each of you! Cara and Bruce

Bruce’s Version

This might be hard to believe but I found the love of my life of all places on social media! Yes...believe it or not on facebook. I recall us having a mutual friend and both of us responding to their post. I can't recall what the post was about, but I remember seeing Cara's profile pic and thinking hmmm....let me click on it for a closer view! I was stunned at how attractive she was. Captured by her beauty, I peeked at her timeline and came across a recent picture she posted. In this photo, Cara was wearing a black leather jacket waist-length, her hair was jet black, cropped and feathered. She wore large gold hoop earrings and had on a black top with 1970 across the front. She also wore blue jeans with black ankle boots. She looked like a model for a fashion magazine. I was absolutely taken at how amazing she looked. (I also remember thinking who took the picture? A question I still haven't got the answer to....lol) I had to know more about this beautiful woman. I clicked more info and it was then revealed her birthday was Jul 24th and with mine being Jul 23rd, this was the ice breaker I needed. After getting up the nerves, I sent her an inbox greeting her "hello beautiful I couldn't help but notice your birthday is the day after mine". From there we inboxed every day over the next couple weeks discovering we had so much in common. She was so down to earth and easy to talk to. There was never that uncomfortable awkwardness often encountered when first meeting someone. When we finally met in person, she was even more attractive! After a brief formal introduction and conversation, I remember walking away saying and praying "GOD let her be the one and don't let her be crazy." 😂 HE truly has answered my prayers. After 2yrs of dating, I proposed to Cara on March 30 in Barcelona Spain. She said YES! Now, my Cielo (Cielo: sky/heaven) and I are getting married. She truly is my heaven here on earth.

Cara’s Version

As Bruce mentioned, we did meet on social media. We literally talked on the phone all night for weeks like the high school days, not about love but about life. 😂 It was like we knew each other forever. We both grew up on the west side one street over but our paths never crossed. During our conversations, we learned we had so much in common and our personalities fit perfectly together. We became friends first. Bruce was my support system as I dealt with my dad’s health issues. The day we met in person was the starting point of what now is forever. We both knew at that moment this was going to be the beginning of our future together, as long as neither of us was crazy (literally what we both were thinking). Bruce asked me to be his girlfriend on April 22, 2017, as we were visiting my father in the nursing home. Of course, I didn’t initially say yes! I had to ask what being his girlfriend entailed. 😂 After clarification, I said yes! Not too long after, Bruce said the big words “I love you”. Again, of course, it took me some time to express the same feelings, out loud at least! I wanted to be sure it was love and not lust because Batman is FINE 😍. He waited semi-patiently, making sure to double-check on a regular🤣. Fast forward to a trip we took to Barcelona Spain in March 2019 for my daughter’s wedding, Bruce surprisingly proposed to me following a voluntary flamenco dance in front of family, friends, and strangers!! I didn’t know he had it in him! To this day Bruce has remained consistent in his love for me, my family and his commitment to our upcoming marriage. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to experience genuine love, care, and support from the man God has placed in my life. Bruce Wayne (Batman) is truly my superhero and I look forward to the day I become Mrs. Cara Adams ♥️
