We're Getting Married!

Beau and Cara met in the summer of 2017 at McFarland Culver's. Each of their friends at the time (who were seeing each other) wanted to get together so we all met at Culver's for some ice cream. After laughing for hours and heading home, Cara had to find a way to contact Beau. A few weeks later Beau and Brody (Beau's high school best friend and someone Cara has known since elementary school) went with Cara to Mt Olympus after her friends bailed on her. 1 week after that Beau and Cara went on their first date to BWW and OFroyo in his Orange Camaro and the rest is history. The Monday before their wedding they will be celebrating 8 YEARS of dating!!

From day 1 Cara has always told Beau that if they were to get engaged she hopes there is a photographer to capture the moment, even if they're hiding in the bushes. On 2/15/22 Cara's photographer friend (and their wedding photographer!) reached out to see if they were up for modeling for a session at Henry Vilas Zoo before wedding season picked up again. Of course they said yes (Beau was the one who asked Sara to ask Cara if they wanted to model so he could propose) and the session was planned for March 13, 2022. They walked the entire zoo laughing about being the nicest dressed people there and Cara's feet absolutely killing her. At the very end of the session Sara wanted to do a few pictures outside of the zoo. She set up the whole thing, with Beau's direction, and of course Cara said yes! Now they're getting married, 3 years and 7 months later!
