Hello & Bienvenue

It happened during the wee hours of the morn, the day after Christmas at Badaboum (Paris). Cara went up to the loft with Amanda, her best friend whose 24th birthday she was celebrating that night. She spotted Alexandre from across the room, towering well above the sea of heads bobbing back and forth to the music. Relieved at the sight of another American (or so she thought), Cara approached Alexandre with an inviting smile and a friendly hello expecting a response that wasn’t laced with a French accent. To her surprise, standing a solid foot taller than the average French man, Alexandre was by no means American, and undeniably French. His accent-laden reply was charming enough to lead to a phone number exchange and a date a week later at Le Comptoir General, just after the 2015 New Year. The rest of our story has been a wild, inter-continental adventure with all of you. Il était une fois au Badaboum (Paris), le lendemain de Noël, au milieu de la nuit. Cara déambulait avec sa meilleure copine, Amanda, qui fêtait son 24e anniversaire, cette nuit-là. Elle vit Alexandre dans la distance, bien au-dessus des autres têtes. Soulagée de voir un autre américain (ce qu'elle pensait...), Cara l'approcha avec un grand sourire et un <<Hello>> très aimable. A sa grande surprise, un pied plus grand qu'un "français moyen", Alexandre était loin d'être un american boy, indéniablement français. Sa réponse accentuée était tellement charmante qu'ils ont décidé d'échanger leur numéro. Une semaine plus tard, ils se sont rejoint pour un premier date au Comptoir Général, en début d'année 2015. Le reste appartient à l'Histoire...
