Question

WILL THE ALTITUDE AFFECT ME?

Answer

Vail Village is at a higher altitude than most of our friends and family are used to experiencing. Below are some tips to consider while traveling out to our wedding destination. 1. Take it slow. Stay below 7,000 feet the first 24 hours (we recommend a full day in Denver or Boulder). 2. Give your body time to adjust by avoiding strenuous exercise the first day. 3. Limit alcohol intake. 4. Drink a TON of water. The higher up you go, the more water you should drink. 5. Hand-held oxygen canisters ACTUALLY WORK, and are not just a novelty! If you're feeling lightheaded, or nauseous, the canisters are available at every store in Vail Village. 6. Get plenty of rest and enjoy the wedding festivities, along with all the wonderful things Vail has to offer!

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the ceremony?

Answer

All of the hotels listed on the site are a short walk from the Eagle Bahn Gondola, where you will meet at the bottom of the mountain to travel up to the ceremony site. If walking is not an option, there is valet parking at the Arrabelle (located next to the gondola), available for all wedding guests.
