We Do!!!!

It started in the DM’s now we’re here! 😂Dwight & Shanteria had some knowledge of each other but that was about it. According to Dwight in 2017 he told someone “if God ever gives me a chance with her its a wrap” 😂see how he’s such a man of his word. Fast forward 2 years later Dwight decided to go for it & asked Shanteria for brunch although it was very tempting because she loves food but she declined. Shortly after God moved in a way to let Shanteria know that a friendship with Dwight was ok. Weeks later Dwight accepted Shanteria’s invite to bible study & then it started.......

They had no idea they would be getting married it literally was just a friendship, it started with them maybe talking once or twice a week to them talking everyday. During this time without noticing Dwight & Shanteria became very close & started opening up to each other more about personal things & before they knew it they were best friends. They spent a year without anyone knowing (with the exception of a few for accoubtabilty) building thier friendship. Shanteria asked Dwight what attracted him to her He replied, it was her love for Christ. Dwight did something most men didnt for Shanteria, he was himself, and thats what she loved/loves about him. A few months in God made it clear to the both of them on what He was establishing.

Although at this point they pretty much already had their wedding planned, On August 4th 2020 Shanteria was home watching tv in the middle of a pandemic hair flying, nails not done, in comfy clothing & Dwight came he sat there for a few mins, he then looked and said “are you ready for this?” She looked at him for a little & he then pulled out a box with the ring oh & a chic fil a gift card 😂(wouldnt have been a proposal from Dwight if there wasnt a petty moment). He went home & Shanteria ended her night with a bunch of facetime calls, text to love ones, & a praise to God for being faithful

We are 2 imperfect people that serve a PERFECT God, we are learning each other daily, we’re excited about what God has in store for us, we are up for this journey and so very thankful for you all that are apart of our lives. Stick around as we prepare for a couple of FOREVERS. -Dwight & Shanteria-
