We both met by swiping right on our tinder profiles and after rescheduling our date THREE times, we finally met at costal daiquiri bar in Bay Shore. It was a torrential down pour and before we could even say hi and introduce ourselves, we instead said "lets go!!!" and ran inside from the parking lot together. Rain, thunder, lightening, a few laughs and drinks..... and it was all history!

After a few months of secretly planning, Mike decided on a meaningful place to propose, Long Beach in Smithtown, where they share so many amazing memories together. After arriving at the beach, Mike was trying his best to hide his nerves for the big moment. So after finishing an entire bottle of wine between the two of them, Mike asked their two friends Brian and Britt, who were in on the surprise, to meet at the beach. Mike then strategically asked if they would take a picture of them in front of the water. To Linda’s surprise, as they were posing for pictures, Mike got down on one knee and popped the question! Since Linda was so shocked, all she heard was “I love you so much ,something something something …will you marry me?” to which she replied “Wait are you serious? Yes !!” Then everyone celebrated with champagne and confetti poppers! Following the proposal, Mike and Linda's family were waiting at their apartment to help celebrate saying yes to forever.
