We’re getting married!

We met in a cute little town called Leavenworth in Eastern Washington. We were both on last minute trips, Jason with his brother and I was with my sister n law. We ran into each other at the Loft – a small hole in the wall karaoke bar in the center of town. When we say small, it was SMALL – so small (and crowded) when I went to the bar for a drink, Travis (Jason’s brother) crushed my foot. He apologized and felt so bad he offered me a beer – little did he know when he brought over a beer Jason would be standing right next to me in dismay his brother didn’t bring him a beer! Trav gave his beer to Jase and the two of us cheers’d and starting talking. It literally was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT (haha, so cliché) but there were sparks flying all over that place. In that little hole in the wall we both found our forever – THANK YOU TRAVIS, you are the best #footcrusher.

We had just celebrated Christmas at Jason’s grandparent’s house and were headed to our friend’s 40th bday party in Downtown Seattle. We were meeting up with my brother, sister n law and family friends at The Pharmacy, a lounge in the heart of Pioneer Square. We arrived a little early, hanging out in the reserved space with champagne and whiskey in hand. Jason was acting so strange, dancing like a fool with a HUGE smile on his face. I was like, “Oh babe! You cannot dance like that when everyone gets here”, I proceeded to say, “Okay, let’s do this – why don’t you get it all out now before they arrive and show me your best moves?!” Of course Jason replies, “Oh you want me to show you my best move ever?!” (weirdly and oddly egging me on) and I say, “Yep! Show me your best move!” This guy walks over to the couch where I’m sitting and gets on one knee and says to me, “this is my best move ever, WILL YOU MARRY ME?” The rest is history!
