When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need all RSVP's by August 1, 2025. You can visit the website's RSVP page and give us your response there.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please come in black tie formal wear. Ladies, there is a large lawn at the venue so keep that in mind when considering thin heels. Men, we love starched jeans, but they are not considered black tie. Please consider a dark suit jacket, matching trousers, white shirt and tie. No hats, but cowboy boots are welcome.

Where should we park?

Barr Mansion has a parking lot available.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! The website has a registry tab with a link to Amazon. Please note we are asking that gifts be sent to San Diego and not brought to the wedding. See the Registry tab for more info.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

Answer

Please contact Hannah by August 1 and she will let the caterers know. We will make sure to accommodate to the best of our ability. Late notification may result in us being unable to provide alternative meal options.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are inviting a smaller group of close friends and family, so please limit your party to those specified on the invitation unless you have explicit permission from the bride or groom.

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We have booked a wonderful wedding photographer who will cover the ceremony, so we kindly ask that cell phones and personal cameras are put away and silenced during the ceremony.

Is everything at the same location?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will all be at Barr Mansion. It is largely outdoors, so please plan accordingly. We will provide paper fans to help beat the Texas heat. Dinner and dancing will be indoors with large ceiling fans in the space.

Do you have kids meals?

Our venue can provide a kids portion. Please contact Hannah before August 1 to request this.
