We met as neighbors in our apartment complex, and things clicked pretty fast. We were both Texans living away from home. After several encounters in the complex. One night, Patrick wandered over to the hot tub with a Shiner beer in hand and said "here's something to remind you of home.” That simple gesture pretty much summed him up: thoughtful, sweet, and easy to be around. From there, hanging out just felt natural, and we slowly went from neighbors to spending most of our free time together. As a couple we are happiest when we’re outside, whether that's hiking, camping, or chasing good snow on skis or a snowboard. And when we’re not in adventure mode, we’re usually eating our way through new restaurants around town or planning a trip someplace else we want to explore. This past spring, we got the chance to travel through Italy together and soak up everything it had to offer: great food, great wine, and a whole lot of memories we still laugh about. We’re excited for all the adventures still ahead and look forward to celebrating our marriage with all of our favorite people.
