FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kristen Whitlow and Justin Cantrell
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are going for cocktail attire, which is dressy yet fun. For women, think elegant dresses or chic separates. For men, a suit or dress shirt with slacks works perfectly.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Most of our married and partnered guests are already included on their invitations. We've extended invitations to those specifically named on each card. If you're unsure whether your significant other received an invitation, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or Justin—we're happy to clarify!

Question

Should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPing to a wedding is important because it helps the couple plan effectively, from catering to seating, ensuring they have the right number of guests. It also shows respect for their time and effort in organizing the event. Not responding can create unnecessary stress and logistical issues for them. In short, an RSVP allows for a smoother celebration and shows your support for their special day

Question

When is the bridal shower?

Answer

Due to our adjusted wedding timeline, we're hosting the bridal shower in August—after the wedding itself. We know it's unconventional, but we're excited to celebrate this way!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We absolutely do! We recommend either the Wind Creek Casino Hotel or the Hampton Inn, both conveniently located in Wetumpka.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be an alcohol-free celebration. We'll have a wonderful selection of non-alcoholic beverages available for all our guests. Since we're being married at a church, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any alcohol to the event.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We'd love to have you arrive by 4:00 PM so that everyone is seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. This ensures a smooth and seamless start to our celebration.
