Max and Savannah met while she was job shadowing at Blackberry Mountain! There was an instant spark between the two of them. They both knew they wanted to see each other again! They found each other through a colleague and went on their first date in July 2019.

Max had been scheming for a few days as to how he would pull this off without Savannah knowing or catching any hints. He planned a "normal date night" but had to convince Savannah that they needed to run out to Blackberry Mountain before the date since she had gotten out of work so early that evening. He made up a story about bringing home some VERY important keys that he had to return and without hesitation they headed over to the Mountain. Once they got to the Blackberry Mountain he drove Savannah to Goat Hill (her favorite spot of the property) and little did she know, he had a big surprise for her. It was a breezy yet beautiful sunset, Max got on one knee and proceeded to ask Savannah to marry him! Lots of champagne was drank that evening in celebration and I am sure there will be much more in the future.
