On a turkey hunting adventure. Kyle was working for Green Mountain Coffee, night shift, and ended his shift around 4 am. Chloe woke up extra early, before work, to go hunting with Kyle and a mutual friend. Neither of us had spoken very much before. We ended up being paired together, while our friend went across the way to attempt to push turkeys in our direction. Forced to communicate, we stood under a tree, outside of a cow field on Perry Hill and hung out. Kyle was drinking a beer since he had just finished his shift, and Chloe was not... As they spoke, Kyle gulped and choked on the beer. We both found it hilarious, and not so smooth and haven't gone a day without speaking since. Our first official date was shortly after, on July 4th, where we watched the Warren Fireworks and went dancing at The Rusty Nail. We celebrate the same way every year by watching the Warren fireworks from the bed of our truck. After 6 years of this tradition, Kyle finally proposed in the bed of the truck with our at the time 4 year old daughter, Layla, helping out.
