Emily is very close with her mother, Susan. (3+ phone calls a day close!) Susan owns Custom Quilts and Sewing Center with her mother, Cindy, in Haslett. Susan enjoys quilting, spending time with her kids, and taking care of the wayward animals they end up bringing home to her. Susan and her dog, Max, go almost everywhere together.

William Myers

Father of the Bride

William will not be able to join family and friends physically but he will be with the bride in spirit. Bill passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2017. Bill and Susan were married for over 25 years. Bill enjoyed spending time in his pole barn tinkering on cars, watching storm chasers (and even wanted to do it himself!), and was a retired IBEW electrician.

Wendell Myers

Honor Attendent

Wendell (Pops) is Emily's grandfather. Wendell was Chief of Police in Dewitt, MI for over 20 years before retiring. He will be walking Emily down the aisle. Pops enjoys John Deere tractors, picking on his grandkids, and enjoying retired life with his wife of 65 years, Hazel.

Mother of the Groom

Bryan and his mother are very close to one another as they like to talk to each other on the phone everyday. She has happily been with her partner, Dale, for the past 20 years. In her free time, Lisa enjoys sewing, reading, and playing Skip-Bo.

Mike Harvey

Father of the Groom

Two things that bring Mike and Bryan together are their enjoyment attending sporting events and playing golf together. Mike has happily been married to his wife, Cindy, for 16 years. During his free time, he enjoys golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, and fishing.

Amanda Myers

Amanda is Emily's older sister. Amanda is a Course Development Assistant at Michigan Virtual. Amanda graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Theatre. Amanda enjoys spending time with her handsome cats Taco, Conan, and Sebastian, listening to podcasts, and binging television shows with her boyfriend, John.

Chad Harvey

Best Man

Chad is Bryan's older brother. He currently attends Michigan State University where he is pursuing a Bachelors in Media and Information. When not attending school, he works for Big Ten Network University (BTNU). Chad also enjoys hanging with friends, watching sports, and playing video games.

Jennifer Myers

Bridesmaid

Jennifer is Emily's younger sister. Jennifer received her bachelor's in fine art (major illustration) at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University in Grand Rapids. She enjoys watching Achievement Hunter, drawing, baking, and playing with her cats in her free time.

John Betz

Groomsman

Bryan and John first met when Amanda brought him to family Thanksgiving in November 2018. On that day, everyone learned that he makes delicious pies (along with other amazing foods!). Bryan's personal favorite is John's blueberry pie. John works in sales at Gale Briggs, Inc in Charlotte. He enjoys home improvement, craft beer, and great BBQ. John and Amanda enjoy traveling together.

Abigail and Emily met at Pinecrest Animal Hospital. When Emily first started working there, Abigail did not like her. Today, you would have never guessed that one did not like the other! Abigail and Emily are the best of friends. Abigail has been married to her husband, Steven, for several years and they have a 2 beautiful daughters, Jamie and Harper.

Tyler Dietz

Tyler is a really good friend of Bryan that he met at Ferris State University. The first time they met was on a night in Henderson Hall when they were with a group of people trying to scare other residents with a werewolf mask. He enjoys golfing, visiting breweries, and attending Detroit Tigers baseball games with his girlfriend Kayla.

Seth Austin

Seth Austin is another good friend of Bryan's that he met at Ferris State University and also works with for the State of Michigan. Before the pandemic, the two enjoyed playing euchre at lunch and hope to again upon returning to the office. In his spare time, he enjoys going to breweries, camping/hiking, traveling, and being by bodies of water with his girlfriend, Sammy.

Makayla Myers

Makayla is one of Emily's younger cousins. Makayla is finishing up high school and loves dance. She teaches several younger dancers as well.

Nathan Myers is a cousin of the bride. Watch out when you are riding with him since he is a major deer magnet (Bryan is too...)! He works for a local radio station in Lansing and in his spare time he likes to work out.

Jamie is the daughter of Abigail & Steven Orweller, and the goddaughter of Emily.

Dominic Milbourn

Dominic is one of Emily's younger cousins. Emily spent a lot of time watching Dominic when he was younger. Dominic is a shy, sweet boy who loves to play Minecraft in his free time.

Garry is Emily's uncle, brother to William, Emily's father.

Tom is Emily's uncle, brother to Susan, Emily's mother.
