We matched on a dating app, but we weren't looking for a serious relationship. We went out for dinner and had a very nice time, but something came up for Taylor, and we didn't talk again. For most people that would have been the end of it, but three months later, Taylor reached out again, asking for another date with the girl he hadn't forgotten. So we went out again, and this time we kept talking. And we kept going out on dates. And even though we weren't looking for anything long term, we couldn't see any reason to stop going on dates, and meeting each other's friends and families, and spending all of our free time together, so we just kept going until we both fell in love and never wanted to be apart ever again. Oops.

On a cold Christmas morning four years later, Taylor proposed, and Melissa said yes, and now we're getting married! Over the years together, we have discovered that out of all our shared values, our families and friends are the most important parts of both our lives. We want to start our new adventure as husband and wife with our loved ones around us. Our dream wedding is a party for our guests, with good food and good times, a celebration of the people who helped us become who we are.
