7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This event is dressy casual/fun party wear. Guests should NOT wear red or white, as these colors are reserved to the bride :)
Optional and Women Only: This is a traditional Turkish event, only for women! It's fun! Food and drinks will be served (as well as henna haha) From the bride: "I'd love all the women attending the ceremony to come to this event! You don't have to be Turkish :) and know what it is." A Turkish Henna Night (Kına Gecesi) is a traditional, emotional pre-wedding ceremony for the bride, symbolizing her farewell to maidenhood, filled with singing, dancing, and the ceremonial application of henna paste to her hands and feet for good fortune, often involving tears, traditional outfits (like a red veil or bindalli), and rituals of luck like placing a gold coin in her palm.
