Ivan and Megan met while serving teens at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where they assisted on weekend retreats. Their first “meet up” was at the shoppes in Chino Hills just getting to know each other before the church meeting of the week. This was of course before going on their first official date to Disneyland. After a few months as friends, Ivan officially asked Megan to be his girlfriend on April 10th 2016 after serving on a weekend retreat. Ivan was super thoughtful and had made an album with pictures and a letter to which led him to asking her to be his girlfriend in Mama Mary’s grotto at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Ivan was 20 years old and Megan was 18 years old when they began dating. Year after year there were many adventures of traveling and meeting one another’s families during the holidays. After 7 years of dating, on December 27th 2023, they officially got engaged. We are more than ready for this next journey in life together and we can’t wait to celebrate it with the ones we love most at the church where our journey of love began.
