Alaska Marine Highway
We recommend taking the ferry to Haines. It's a 4.5hr ride north up the deepest Fjord in North America with breathtaking views. Details: - Book from Juneau / Auke Bay to Haines. - The ferry terminal is 20 minutes from the Driftwood Hotel / Juneau. - Ferries depart at 7am daily, and you need to be there 45min early.

The Fjordline is a water taxi that runs from Juneau to Haines in the summer. It is a 3-hour narrated, sightseeing and wildlife cruise with whale watching and a stop at the Eldred Rock Lighthouse.

Alaska Seaplanes is a small commuter airline that flies from Juneau to Haines daily. It's unlike most planes people are used to, with only about 16 seats on board. The flight time is 30-40 minutes.
