We both worked at the same place but somehow never really crossed paths. Then one day, as I was heading out for the day, I heard someone say, “Do you have plans this weekend?” I turned around and saw him sitting there with AirPods in. Naturally, I had to ask, “Are you even talking to me?” (Spoiler: He was.) Of course, I said yes, and we went out for drinks that weekend. The rest? Well, it’s honestly history.
