The ceremony will start at 3pm, we ask guests to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior. There will be hot apple cider and refreshments available before the ceremony. There will also be the guest book to sign before heading to the ceremony seating.
Formal attire*. Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night, and since the cocktail hour will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However there will also be heaters to help keep guests warm. * Attire suggestions: Men should wear a suit with a shirt and tie. Women may wear a floor-length gown, or a knee-length formal cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.
Plan A is to have the ceremony outdoors on the water. Weather permitting the ceremony will take place outside, it is on grass so wear appropriate shoes!
We are having an UNPLUGGED ceremony. Please refrain from using all electronic devices and cameras during the ceremony. We have paid professionals to capture the ceremony and do not want these pictures ruined from someone taking a picture. After the ceremony you are more than welcome, and encouraged to take pictures after!
Yes we are. None of us can predict the future and we’ve hear that COVID-19 isn’t going anywhere. So we have decided not to postpone starting our lives together because we don’t know what a year or two or more is going to look like. We have waited long enough to get married and due to the uncertain times it is now more important than ever to live in the moment each and every day. I assure you we are taking precautions, along with our venue and service staff. * See question on precautions for further on this*
The invitation is written to guests for attendance. If you’re invitation says and guest you are allowed to bring one.
In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!
There is a parking attendant to show you where to park once you get to the venue. There will be only one shuttle run to the venue; if you miss the shuttle before the ceremony they will not be coming back due to time constraints. The shuttle will promptly leave at 2pm. There will be multiple shuttle trips coming back staggering from 8pm to 10:30pm.
The hotels are next to each other! The main pick up/dropoff is at the Best Western.
Yes! The venue asks that all cars be removed by 9am the following morning.
Costumes will be allowed after dinner service. No costumes during the ceremony or beginning of reception!!!! 🤗
