Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” or a name other than your name, then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We are needing to make sure we can afford this wedding, and head count is where one of the biggest costs that we can control. Also, we are truly wanting an intimate wedding where at least one of us knows everyone at our own wedding.

Is there a shuttle to and from the resort to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner reception, and dance reception are all on the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa premises. Though each portion of the wedding is at a different location, it is an intimate sized resort, and there will be staff and signs to help you.

Is there a shuttle to and from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Yes, transportation is included in your fee to Destination Weddings when working with our travel agent Jennifer. Transportation is included from the airport to the resort, and vice versa.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! When was the last time you guys had a date night anyways?! There is a potential of 1 child attending the wedding due to health circumstances, other, than that, no children are allowed. Kids are welcome to come to Mexico and stay on the resort, however, just not at the actual wedding day festivities.

*August 20th, 2020 - final payment in full is due for those that are attending, and opted OUT of travel insurance. *September 20th, 2020 - final payment in full is due for those that are attending and opted FOR travel insurance. *Friday, December 4th, 2020 - WEDDING DAY!!!

Is airfare included with my fee to Destination Wedding?

Answer

No. This airfare is a separate cost and booking. Use up those miles you have waiting with your credit card rewards, or use up frequent flyer miles accumulated!

Is there a payment plan offered with Destination Weddings?

Answer

Yes! Interest free payment plans are offered from now up until August 20th, 2020 (if no travel insurance is purchased) or up until September 20th, 2020 (if travel insurance is purchased).

Is a wedding gift required? Where are you registered?

Answer

A wedding gift is not required, however, if you'd like to donate any dollar amount towards our honeymoon, and future house fund, please visit our "Registry" page on this wedding website to do so. We really don't need tangible gifts as being past our 20s, we have most things we need!

Are there excursions available at the resort?

Answer

Yes! You can book excursions directly through our hotel. The excursions sign up is on our Destination Weddings website link that was provided in our Save the Dates, and also here on our website under "Things to Do". We also recommend working with hotel concierge to book them on your first day of arrival at the hotel. We plan on going to a cenote, and Xcaret park! A few plan on doing deep sea fishing. Hope to see you there!

What does an all inclusive resort mean?

Answer

All inclusive means that all your food and drinks during your stay is included. Any time you are hungry or want drinks (both alcoholic and non) are included. We do strongly encourage you to tip in $1 USD bills. We suggest tipping between $1-$5. Nothing more than that is needed!
