Kyle and Amy met in Bloomington at Eagle Pointe Golf Resort where they both were working. Amy was bartending while Kyle was working in the kitchen, and Amy was in awe of his omelet making abilities during Sunday Brunch. After several months of chatting and flirting, Kyle asked Amy to go to a local comedy show with him for their first date. They have been making omelets and laughing together ever since.
In the winter of 2018, Kyle made the tough decision to pack up his car and take a job in Houston, Texas. Although the distance was tough on the couple, Amy was able to visit him often. During her trip in July, Kyle decided to take Amy to a gorgeous old hotel in Galveston, Texas. Their day was set up perfectly - reading by the pool, cocktails at the swim up bar, an afternoon nap, and reservations at the best seafood restaurant in town. While sitting at the lobby bar before dinner, enjoying the romantic music and a couple of Woodford Reserve Old Fashioneds, Amy received some texts from Kyle. There was a picture of the 1976 Cincinatti Reds World Series team and the Chicago Bulls six (6!) Championship trophies. Looking confused, Amy turned to Kyle and he asked her if she would help him make the next greatest team of all time. She smiled, he asked her to marry him, and she said yes!
