We are getting married at a small cottage and there is limited parking. The parking lot accommodates up to 40 vehicles so car pooling is a good idea. A shuttle will pick you up from the lot and bring you up to the cottage. *Important note* Overflow parking is also available and will be instructed upon arrival if necessary.
Children are more than welcome at our wedding. Ours will be there and will be part of the ceremony. Please keep in mind, children normally sit well through the ceremony, but will be restless at some point during the reception. I do want to prepare you for the fact that this wedding venue does not have an entirely safe play area for the kids. There are woods and cliffs, so if you do bring your children, please keep a close eye on them at all times. We want everyone to be safe and the wedding venue strictly cautions this.
The wedding will be about 6 hours total. How long you stay is completely up to you and your party. We are just glad to have you there.
Your presence is gift enough, but if you are feeling generous we will love whatever you bring. We will have a money dance. It is a family tradition in the Williams family. All the males dance with the bride and offer a monetary gift and likewise for the groom. All females dance with the groom and give the gift of money. This will last for a song or two song. We also have a registry that carries our newlywed and honeymoon funds. None of which is necessary, but available if you wish to participate.
We will be providing beer, wine, and champagne as celebratory drinks. We will not have any hard liquor as it is restricted in this county.
Attire is black-tie optional. The ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be in the barn.
The show must go on! If it rains, we will move the wedding inside to the barn as a back up plan.
RSVPs are due July 31st. If you have trouble RSVPing, please call or text us at 706.263.5154 and we will get you in. If you do not RSVP, we will assume you do not plan to attend.
