We’re finally getting married🥳!

It was November of 2001. It was my first JAROTC Military Ball. It was a night full of dancing, laughter, and fun. I wore a long blue sparkling halter top dress and some black heels. Cedric said as soon as he walked through the door, all he saw was a blue sparkling dress, and when I turned around he said at that moment time stood still. He knew then that I was going to be his one day. And that’s what he meant. He tried on several occassions to get my number and each time I turned him down. He was determined and wasn’t going to stop until I gave in.

So August of 2002 we ended up having a class together which was Science. My AFJROTC Military Ball was coming up and a mutual friend of ours set us up on a date to go together. Once again the night was full of fun and laughter. Once that ended we went to eat, talked, and got to know each other a little and I realized how much of a gentlemen he was. He was very sweet and kind to me. That’s why you should never judge a book by it’s cover because you never know. The night ended with a hug and kiss and from there on we were inseparable.

April of 2004, we found out that I was pregnant with our first son. In a little over a year in 2006, we decided that we were ready to move out into our first apartment while pregnant with our second child. Had her and decided that it was time to move into something bigger for our family. In 2008, we were surprised to find out that we were soon to be expecting our third child which was a baby girl. And then BOOM, 9 years later we had our fourth and last child, a baby boy. So here we are 19 years and 4 beautiful, smart, talented children later, we are ready to tie the knot. For us, it doesn’t matter how long it takes for you to get it right. It may take several times, but as long as we have God in our lives then nothing will stand in our way. It’s been a long time coming and we are so ready for our BIG special day. It’s going to be EPIC 🎉.
