I wanted to include additional information for our guests that will be traveling from abroad. You need a valid passport and to get a UK ETA. You can do so by going to this website: https://uketa.com/uk-eta-application/us-citizens/
For booking flights, Norse airlines offer really affordable options. They only fly out of New York though. Taking Amtrak from Norfolk to New York is an option. Otherwise booking early on another airline is always a choice. Apps like Orbitz or Google flights help to find the most affordable tickets.
Driving in Edinburgh is not required owing to the abundance of public transportation and close proximity of things to do - including our wedding venue/reception. Parking is limited & often expensive.
Please remember to let your bank and credit card companies know when you will be in Scotland and if you wish to get some dollars converted to pounds before coming you can do so at the currency exchange located in the MacArthur Mall if you are in the Hampton Roads area.
