When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can, so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is July 1, 2026.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by July 1, 2026, it will automatically be marked as "no." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event to allow all guests to relax and celebrate with us. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:00 PM; the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. Visit the Travel page for more information regarding guest transportation and timing.

Will transportation be provided for guests?

Answer

Yes, we've arranged complimentary shuttle service for our guests to and from Pala Casino Spa Resort. More information can be found under the Travel tab. For those who will not be using the shuttle service, please utilize ride-share services - otherwise, parking is available at the wedding venue free of charge.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have provided a list of accommodations under the Travel tab with links provided for each location. The wedding party will be staying at Pala Casino Spa Resort. You do not have to choose a hotel from the list shared, but we hope it helps in your search.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

The closest airport to the wedding venue is San Diego International Airport (SAN). More information, including alternative airports, can be found under the Travel tab.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request semi-formal attire. Please note that the event will be outdoors, where the terrain will be a combination of grass and cement.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Oceanside, CA in August has an average high temperature of ~76-80 degrees F, an average low of ~62-66 degrees F, and a slight breeze due to being on the coast. Please keep in mind that the majority of the event will be held outdoors, so be sure to plan for the heat.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres accompanied by soft drinks and an open bar.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Family style dinner will be served during the reception, as well as soft drinks and an open bar.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors at The Cove and Garden Gazebo, while the reception will take place at the open air covered pavilion.
