We decided on forever

A mutual friend of ours (Justin) had introduced us about 10 months before we actually started dating. We met a few times briefly in between but it wasnt till Justin invited me to karaoke at birds that I talked to Connor more than before that night and after a while of talking he put his hand on my leg and I was like "whoa there" lol I told him I think your friend is gonna be upset about that and he said no He doesn't like you like that lol. So he kept his hand on above my knee and we kept talking untill it was my turn to sing. After that we went outside and we were sitting in a friends car and he leaned over and kissed me. I went home shortly after that and didn't see him till Sunday when he came over to look at my truck, he met the Gio and Tino that day and we talked for a couple of hours while fixing my truck. I didnt see him for a week after that but we texted the whole time. The weekend came and we went out to eat and went paddleboarding. After that we spent as much time as we could together and then after about three months he started coming over for dinner with the kids and then the rest is just us now.

When I first met Candice a mutual friend of ours (Justin) from time to time would invite her out and I always felt like she didnt like me as she would give me what I thought were dirty looks lol. Turns out I was the cutest of my group apparently. We didnt hang out very much untill one night she came to hang out at birds oyster bar a place me and justin would frequently go karaoke at on Thursdays. I always thought she was pretty but I was really intimidated by her as I knew she was a successful single mother of 3 awesome kids and I didnt think I was ever worth a thought. At some point I asked justin if I could try to ask Candice out and he said "go for it". That's exactly what I did, we were waiting for our songs to come on and I started talking to Candice more and more and realized she was really cool and interesting unlike most girls. She had a great mindset and personality and is very funny. She told me she was having car trouble with her land rover and I tried to understand what possible causes could be, then I told her we could make a deal. If she would cut my hair I would fix her land rover. After a little more time I scooted closer and closer to her until I grabbed her thigh and she said "I think your friend might get mad" and I said "he gave me the okay, he isnt into you". So we stepped outside so I could smoke and were hanging in a friends car and I just reached over and kissed her. We then went back inside and hung out till karaoke was over and she had to go home. I followed her to her car for more kisses before she left. I didnt see her till that Sunday when I came over to fix her land rover. I put new spark plugs in for her solving that issue. I also met her youngest child Valentino and her oldest Giovanni. I then left and saw her that following week when we hung out and watched a movie. Over the next couple weeks I realized I enjoyed her company more and more. We then made things official. I realized she was the most interesting, amazing and wonderful person I'd ever met and I didnt wanna be without her. The rest they say is history. Here's to forever babe
