Telluride is NEAT, we highly recommend planning to spend some extra time here if you can! It's such a magical area, especially at the peak of fall. There is a lot to do in town and the surrounding area-- hikes for all skill levels (some that start right in town), walking and shopping main street, taking the free gondola to visit Mountain Village Resort, going for a drive to peep the leaves, or enjoying a stroll through the town park. If you're on the more adventurous side, there is also rock climbing, biking, fly fishing, 4x4 off-roading, and peaks to bag!
