Flight
Volaris is the only airline that offers direct flights to San Luis Potosí, (if you fly out of Tijuana). We recommend flying out Tijuana because it's usually cheaper and faster than flying out of the U.S. CBX The Cross Border Xpress is a bridge that connects a private terminal in San Diego directly to the Tijuana airport. Location: The U.S. terminal is in San Diego, CA (Otay Mesa area), with easy access to parking. Requirements: You must have a boarding pass for a flight arriving/departing from TIJ within 24 hours (northbound) or 4 hours (southbound), a passport, and a CBX ticket. Cost: Tickets can be purchased on the CBX website or app, with prices often around $20–$30 for a one-way crossing, varying by season. They can also be purchased when you book your flight. (Origin: San Diego (CBX Tijuana) Process: Passengers walk across the bridge, passing through security and immigration checkpoints PROS: Cheaper and direct flights from Tijuana CONS: Layover flying out of the U.S. and Volaris tends to delay and/or cancel flights during busy seasons.
