We both swiped right and haven't stopped choosing each other since. We both joined Bumble, an online dating app, in 2016. We had an immediate connection and talked regularly for close to a month. By the time we finally met in person, Chris had already nicknamed Chelsea Wifey to his friends. From then on we were inseparable.
With our three year anniversary approaching, we were planning a getaway to celebrate. We decided on a quiet weekend up at the family cabin in Pollock Pines. Chris was so calm and confident, Chelsea didn't expect a thing. Sunday morning we went to drink our coffee down by the pond as we always do. Chris began to get nervous. He suggested a short walk, on this walk he asked Chelsea to close her eyes and to give him a kiss, hearing the rustling of leaves as he got down on one knee, she began to cry as he pulled out a thoughtfully worded proposal and a ring. Through the tears and excitement, they kissed, and packed up quickly to go call their family and friends.
The wedding was right around the corner and then the world shut down. Although we were disappointed to have to cancel, we did not want to put off our nuptials. We got married in the Schuster's home, danced in the rain, and celebrated with just our parents and siblings. Now, more than a year later, we are excited to celebrate with all our loved ones!
