We're tying the knot!

On the first anniversary of when we first started dating, I had planned a night "staycation" at a new luxury resort near our home as a surprise romantic night for Christian. He had no idea where we were going that day, but my mother told him that it would be the perfect setting for him to 'pop the question'. All the while, I had contacted a friend that works at the resort to place a scrap book I made for Christian in the room with a few romantic details. I had no idea my mom was actually working both sides and already in contact with my friend to make the perfect setting for the proposal. We arrived at the resort and there was a table with all my goodies, and he then knew... it was all a surprise for both of us. He looked through the scrap book I made him as I thought to myself "I surprised him, and I'm oh so romantic haha", when then he showed me who really worked up a surprise and started "so.....". We cried, we laughed, people clapped, and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in paradise!
