The Big Day
Early on when we talked about our wedding, we knew we wanted to do a "smaller" ceremony for just family ("smaller" because let's be honest- we have a lot of family). We hope that our friends and extended family understand this decision. Because of that, there are indicators about what you are invited to on your save the date. We wanted everyone to know in advance in order to make travel accommodations. If your save the date says "formal ceremony and reception invitation to follow" that means you are invited to both the ceremony and reception. If your save the date says "formal reception invitation to follow" that means we would love for you to join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing later on in the evening!
