FAQs

With the bride being an anxious need to know everything person, we’ve tried to make sure all possible questions have been answered. If, AFTER, reading through this page you still have questions, please feel free to ask. (That being said, please plan accordingly and don’t text the bride any question(s) on or after May 22nd.)
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30. Please be seated and ready to go at 3:10.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire with an elevated garden party theme. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside. Please be mindful when selecting footwear. Okay, but what does that /really/ mean? Dress hemlines below the knees, dress slacks & trousers. Have fun with colours & don’t shy away from prints (especially florals)! Any colours to stay away from? Yes! Any full white/cream/ivory/eggshell colour outfit will result in a spilled wine glass! Unless told otherwise by the bride, we also ask that our guests avoid their outfit being predominantly blue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all cameras, phones, tablets, smart watches, and pagers be on silent and turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a photography team we love that will share pictures after. Failure to follow this will result in removal and/or a fine from the bride. Do not test her on this!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Our venue has its own parking lot for our guests.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have an online registry that can be found on the registry tab of this website. (You will be led to the selling site (Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Target, etc.) to complete the purchase.)

Question

Bar?

Answer

Open, please enjoy responsibly. There are no Ubers/Lyfts/Ride shares, the closet hotels are a ~20 minute drive away, and any cars left in the gated lot over night will be charged for pick up the following morning. Please make sure to plan travel arrangements ahead of time if you are drinking.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

Being able to have our out of town (and state!) village attend means the world to us. We have hotel blocks set up around the wedding location. Please see the travel tab for more details.

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

We ask that you kindly reply by May 10th. Following the receipt of formal invites, please go to the "RSVP" tab, input your information, and fill out your response. Just because they’re due on May 10th does not mean to do them on May 10th - feel free to complete them earlier! If we do not hear from you by this date, we will mark you as not attending.

Question

What if I can only make the Ceremony? Or only the Reception?

Answer

With many moving parts in everyone’s day-to-day life, we understand you might not be able to attend the Ceremony & Reception. Please ensure you RSVP correctly to what event(s) you are able to attend!

Question

Am I allotted a plus-one? What about children?

Answer

We're so lucky to be surrounded by so many people in our life that love us! That being said, due to capacity restraints only those named on the invite are invited. In other words, when you go to RSVP all the names of your party will be listed. If they’re not listed = they’re not invited.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance. The best way to for us to accommodate you is by filling out the Reception information when you RSVP.
