Imagine two people go to the exact restaurant, at the exact time, to eat a meal, not together… but alone—sad right? Nope, little did they know they would be a couple for the next 8 years! It was Candace’s birthday and she calls her sister, Christa to ask if she should get In-n-out or Wingstop as a treat—wings it was! [Side note: When in doubt, always choose wings LOL] Both Candace and Jared go to their Long Beach Wingstop and while he is dining in, she is picking up her to-go order. Jared catches a glimpse and is star-struck. After she leaves, he felt this was his only opportunity and runs out to the parking lot to catch her. He shouts “Excuse me! You are the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen. Do you have a boyfriend? Because if you do, I have a fish” At this point, she’s thinking her wings are getting as cold as this pick up line, LOL. Regardless, he asks for her number and impressed with his boldness, she gave the man a shot. They go on their very first date the next day, which of course happened to be on Valentine’s Day.
