Favorite hobby I don’t really have any hobbies. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, I like jigsaw puzzles, I love playing board games and listening to music and dancing How long have you known them? My whole life What is your role in the wedding party? Matron of honor What’s your favorite memory with the bride/groom? I used to love going to Candace’s house when I was younger. Most memorable moment has to be when Candace went with me to the hospital when I was in labor with my youngest son. Aside from my husband she was the only non medical person in the room with us. Describe the bride/groom in three words and which one? Candace passionate, quiet, and talented Tell the story of how you met the bride/groom Candace’s father was my mom’s older brother. We would play on the swing set in her backyard or run around the house when we were little. What’s a moment that defines your friendship? Candace opened her home to us when we needed a place to stay, and to this day she has said her home is our home and we’re always welcome. Anything else you would like to share? I have several female cousins but I can only say that I’m very close with one. Candace is my family and my friend and she deserves every happiness and genuine love.

When I found out I was pregnant with my first child in our senior year of high school,Candace was my rock and was so supportive. Then she excitedly excepted the responsibility of being my daughter's God mother, and has done a more than awesome job in helping me raise her. Describe the bride/groom in three words and which one? Bride: My Best Friend Tell the story of how you met the bride/groom Candace and I have been best friends since meeting our 10th grade year at Highland Park High. What’s a moment that defines your friendship? When Candace threatened to beat up Sondia Cato in high school for saying she was going to be my daughter's God mother. It let me know just how much that job meant to her. Lol Anything else you would like to share? Candace means the world to me! She's has a huge heart and will do all she can to help the people she loves. She's is my best friend and sister and I love her to the moon! I am so honored and grateful to be a part of her special day.

How long have you known them? 54 years What is your role in the wedding party? Giving the Bride Away What’s your favorite memory with the bride/groom? Seeing the look on Joe’s face when thought he had this thing (Not to be said) figured out with Candace and then to realize he didn’t! Priceless look on his face. I said welcome to the family! Describe the bride/groom in three words and which one? Loving, loyal and stubborn Tell the story of how you met the bride/groom. Candace is my sister so, I’ve known her my whole life. I met Joe shortly after they started dating the first time! Very happy when he came back in the picture. Happy to have him part of our family and be my little brother. What’s a moment that defines your friendship? My friendship is built around us being a family that cares and respect of each other regardless of the craziness of our lives. Joe fits in great with all of it. He the equalizer that we have been missing. He makes us stronger.
