Nikia, or Ki as the Bride calls her. We met at work in Fairmont WV in March of 2018, and after only a couple days she became my best friend. When I moved back to Indy in May of 2018 I tried to convince her to come but she wouldn't. After a couple of visits over the summer though she moved here in August of 2018 and we turned quickly from best friends to one another's chosen family. No matter what we always got each others backs. Anyone can be around us for a very short amount of time and see why we are best friends. She's been here for the best and the worst of mine and Jonathan's relationship. She's been a mentor, sister, friend, and even councilor at times. She stayed true to "Do what is best for Candace" and I'm so honored to have her next to me on my most special day.

Mecca and I met through some mutual friends in Morgantown WV at a New Years Eve Party. We quickly clicked and the two of us became each others 'escape friends'. Whenever the other needs to vent or escape life for a quick moment we call one another and the other is there with a lending ear and sometimes life advise to go along with whatever the issue. Mecca also is so gracious to allow me to stay with her or come and shower and sleep at her house when I come in to see my kids. Whenever I'm stressed and I need break from life I always go to Mecca's and she offers wine, a comfy couch and a best friend to relax and escape life with.
Tiffany Perkins

Tiffany and I met when I moved to Indy in 2015, I had gone to get my hair done at a salon she was working at in Plainfield. I was recently just starting my photography business in Indianapolis and asked if she would model for me. I met Tiffany and her boys, and quickly turned a model session into a friendship. I got the pleasure of shooting her youngest sons 1st birthday photos. And then got to watch her turn her dream into a reality when I did the photoshoot for her Business. Tiffany is the only person I let touch my hair and she's had to fix it when other's have.She's always ready for my tea when I get in her chair and I've been able to always turn to her for council and advisement. Tiffany always offers bold womanly advise and is a great person to have in my corner. She's great!
