Gary and Candace met years ago at California Baptist University, where they both graduated on the same day May 1, 2010. Even back then, Gary had an eye for Candace, but his shy nature kept him from making a move. Fast forward to February 2025, when fate and a few funny Instagram reels brought them back into each other’s lives. Their playful exchanges soon led Gary to ask for Candace’s number, and before long, he invited her on their first date at Dave & Buster’s on March 22, 2025. The following weekend, they met for a second date, and that’s when everything changed. It was during that time that they realized how much they had in common it was almost uncanny. They connected deeply over their shared love for Jesus, Family, Sports, and countless other things. As their relationship grew, it became clear that God’s hand was guiding every step. Within just five months, on August 23, 2025, Gary proposed, and Candace joyfully said yes. Their love is a testament to God’s faithfulness a divine gift of companionship, joy, and peace. Together, they’ve discovered a connection that words can hardly describe. It’s special, warm, cozy, and whole, a calm and steady love that inspires them to dream bigger and seek God more deeply than ever before.
