On a lark, Beth decided to apply to Wish Upon a Wedding, which grants all-expenses-paid small weddings to couples affected by serious illness. And lo, we were chosen! And here we are, the Beverly Hillbillies!
As soon as possible, please! We need head counts in a hurry.
Yes, please advise us on the part of the RSVP page where you choose your meal, or text Beth at 415-290-4623.
Unfortunately, according to Wish Upon a Wedding’s policies, we are restricted to 50 attendees, including ourselves and the officiant. So if your invitation does not include your partner or child by name, please do not bring extra people to the wedding. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.
See Travel page for list of recommended (and not recommended) hotels.
We have a Candace and Beth Total Landscaping Fund on this site that you can donate to if you feel so moved, but please do not feel obligated. We have lots of stuff, so don’t need traditional wedding household setup gifts, but we do have some unruly trees at the Minnesota house we will occupy together as of late summer 2024.
Cocktail attire, with as much creativity as you feel inspired to add. Masc friends, a coat and/or tie is traditional, but skirts and dresses are cute too! Femme and NB friends, dresses/skirts, pantsuits or pants and a top, fancy muumuus, Mrs. Roper caftans, all good.
3:45 PM. Please note, there is no guest access to the venue before this time. Ceremony starts at 4 PM sharp.
