Cameron and I first met at Our Lady of Perpetual Hops. I went one night after work with a guy I knew. It was loosely a "date," if you want to call it that. The date was honestly not going very well. Cameron says our mutual friend Courtney introduced us, but I don't remember. It wasn't long after that night that I received a friend request from him on Facebook. I did not remember him, but we had a lot of mutual friends and I thought he looked familiar, so I accepted his request. Shortly after that, he sent me a message. He would literally talk to me about anything he could think of that we had in common-- Chacos, IU basketball, hiking, the outdoors, or whatever else he could think of. He asked me to hang out more times than I can remember. Each time he asked me, I turned him down. A month or so went by and he asked me again and I said yes. We had a great time hanging out and talking. We ended up spending lots of time together. I met his family 2 days later at Sunday dinner. Since then, November 2019, we've been inseparable. The rest is pretty much history! We got engaged December 20, 2020, a little over a year later. I can honestly say Cameron is my soul mate. He completes me in ways I never dreamt would be imaginable for myself. I thank God he came into my life every day. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. You could say we've moved quickly, but I say we've moved just right. When you know, you know. There is no stopping God's plan for your life!
