Both Bronze and Candace weren't sure what to expect from Match.com. Both searching for "The One", they tried the online site "one more time." Candace reached out first, clicking the "Like" button on one of Bronze's pictures. Sidenote: his profile said he was 35 when he was actually 25; by the time Candace found out it was too late. He soon slid into the DM and the conversation flowed from there. The first two weeks of phone and FaceTime conversations led to the building of a strong foundation built on communication and vulnerability. Talks about their faith, career goals, and family aspirations all aligned. While the first date was awkward and silent (movies aren't the best idea of a first date), the second date brought forth a 3 hour conversation that further sealed the deal. They both knew on that date that a kiss was necessary to determine if this was real. They can’t agree on who kissed who first, but they both knew there was something. For the past two years they have been working to build a relationship that honors God. He has been and will continue to be the center of it all. Through highs and lows, deaths and births, Bronze and Candace have learned what it means to love through the seasons of life. As they embark on “forever” they look forward to loving one another in a way that is encouraging, selfless and Christ-centered.
