Unfortunately due to the venue space limitation, we only have room for the individual/s on the invite.
We love your kids and family; however, our special day will be an adult-only event due to space limitations.
We suggest formal or cocktail attire (suit, cocktail dress, dress shirts with tie, nice pantsuit, dressy separates). The ceremony will take place outside on grass and the reception will be indoors/tented patio.
Great question! It's GA so the weather can vary. Temperatures in the past show range from high 30s- high 50s. Best recommendation would be to check the weather app a week prior to get a more accurate gauge.
The venue is at a Bed & Breakfast on farmland that backs up to Lake Hartwell. The wedding and reception will take place on the property in their recently renovated barn. The ceremony will be outdoors with all the views and dinner/reception will be in the barn which extends to a tented patio. There is designated parking available next to the barn. Once you arrive to property, follow the road along to the B&B and Barn. Parking entrance will be closer to the barn (on the right) and the exit will be closer to the road. Just follow the signs.
At this time we do not have transportation for guests. Most of the places to stay are very close by to the venue (downtown Hartwell- 5 minute drive, Hampton Inn Hartwell- 10 minute drive, air bnbs- within driving distance and some walkable!). Car services such as Uber and Lyft should be available as well. As always please plan accordingly as your safety is important to us.
We will have cocktails and charcuterie immediately after the ceremony with a sit down dinner to follow. Dinner will be surf and turf. If you have any food allergies, please notify us with your RSVP or give us a call!
Yes! Beer (Stella), Red Wine (Malbec), White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc), Seltzer (Nutrl), Champagne, and a signature Cocktail (Bourbon based) will be available. We want to have a good time but still feel good the next day! Make sure to hydrate and drink responsibly.

The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before (at the latest). Please plan your day of travels accordingly (especially if traveling from Atlanta as traffic is always an issue). If running late, guests may not be permitted to the ceremony after 4pm and may have to wait until ceremony has commenced.
4pm-8pm is reasonable. Ceremony will start at 4pm. We plan to be enjoying cocktails and mingling by 4:30pm and dinner will be served between 5:15-5:30. Dancing, Cake, and Fun will commence after dinner.
There is a Hampton Inn in Hartwell which is about a 10 minute commute to the venue. Downtown Hartwell also has a cute boutique hotel but rooms are limited and may fill up fast. As always, check out AirBnBs and Vrbos but make sure to check commute to venue as Lake Hartwell is very big and you could end up in South Carolina with a long commute!
