Candace was working at Sunray cafe at the time. Brandon walks in and at that point all she knew was he was easy on the eyes. She wanted to know more. That night as she was closing he came back to "make sure his friend closed his tab". He stuck around and talked while helping her close. She didn't know if it was his great sense of humor, his kind personality, or his gentleman tendencies that got her. That night they talked for hours on end into the morning laughing and learning more about each other. She instantly knew he was different than any man she has ever met. They've been inseparable since! After a year they moved in together and have been having the time of their lives together! The best day of 2020. It was a hot day summer day in Idaho and the couple had a tee time at Banbury golf course. Brandons Aunt lives on the 7th hole and as tradition Candace gives her the heads up that they are coming through. The 2 have often talked about marriage. While they were on hole 5 her Dad sends a song and says “This should be your wedding song” She didn’t think anything of it. Come the 7th hole & she is on the Tee box. She enjoys taking tips and tricks from B and oftentimes will ask for critiquing. This time was different. As she was setting up for her shot he came around in front of her and got down to change her ball out and goes “here try this ball instead”. He then opened the felt golf ball and inside was the most incredible ring. Already down on one knee he asked If she would marry him! SHE SAID YES! Immediately there was cheering and clapping all around. B had it planned well. His Uncle was hiding in the bushes video taping and let the neighbors know as well. She asked if they were going to finish the round but B had a party & the family waiting at his aunts house a few feet away! It couldn’t have been more perfect. He really thought if it all. He even made sure her nails were done. It was a day they will never forget & the perfect beginning of their forever together!
