Trey and Candace met in Fall 2018 when she needed a date to a Phi Mu formal at the University of Montevallo. Trey and Candace danced all night long at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham. A pandemic, undergraduate school, grad school and countless beach trips later, we got married! We are excited for the next adventure and are thankful we get to explore it with all of you.

Our parents and siblings traveled to the Emerald Coast to spend a special weekend celebrating our families becoming one. We spent the weekend getting to know each other better, enjoying the beach, playing games, and sharing delicious meals. Having both of our families together in one place was incredibly special, and we’re so grateful for that time. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, we woke up to a little snow (mainly ice) dusting the beach. In typical Florida fashion, the sun came out just in time for our ceremony, making it all the more beautiful and unforgettable.
