Dear Gentle Readers

It all began nearly seven years ago, on Valentine’s Day—a fitting start to a love built on friendship, faith, and commitment. We met while working at Walmart (—yes, we broke a few rules!), there were so many times our paths could have crossed. I went to the church where he worked, had mutual connections, and even spent time with his cousin—but somehow, we never met. Not until the timing was just right. But from the very beginning, we knew what we had was something truly special and worth it. Over the years, we've chosen each other through every challenge. We blended our families, moved to Iowa, and took time to grow—not just as a couple, but as best friends. He proposed on Mother’s Day, and now we’re getting married on Sweetest Day—a reminder that God's timing is perfect and love is always worth the wait.
