Please arrive around 4:30pm as ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm
You are welcome to make your trip a family vacation and bring the kids to Hawaii, however, the ceremony and reception are adults only
Since not everyone will be staying at the same location we are working on a transportation plan. This will be organized closer to July once we have an idea where everyone is staying. In general a rental car is critical in getting around the island. Uber and Lyft do exist however it's not as common as the mainland, so we highly suggest renting a vehicle. If you choose to drive to the venue there is a valet option for $3.00. We also suggest asking your hotel if they offer a shuttle service as the venue is extremely popular and might be a destination they offer.
The ceremony will not be in the sand, so don't worry about your heels ladies! The dress code will be beach formal attire. July is a warm month but will cool down once the sun has set. The entire event will be outside, a light jacket may be needed for guests who get cold easily.
Our venue is a restaurant only. We listed several hotel options under the travel tab.
Kauai has a strict noise law and unfortunately that means our party ends earlier. We will have a shuttle transporting guests to the Grand Hyatt after the reception to mingle a little longer if you wish to come, otherwise we will have a shuttle setup take guests back to a common drop off which we will announce.
Hawaii is a special place for us and although it isn't the most convenient we couldn't imagine anywhere else. We 100% understand that this won't be ideal for everyone but what matters most is your love and support to our marriage over the years to come. Let's celebrate when we see you next!
